As I said, our passenger jets do NOT fly faster than the speed of sound, because it burns TOO MUCH FUEL. The Count does not like it when we burn too much fuel, because: fuel is expensive.
To travel supersonic (faster than sound) your plane ticket would cost a lot more. So, a bit slower and we have some money left to spend when we get there!
